* Agra Fort : Agra fort was designed and built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD on the banks of Yamuna. Fort is spread in 3 KM of radius with numerous buildings and mahals built inside the fort itself. Fort is surrounded by a 70 feet high wall and its inner courtyard consists of beautiful halls, profuse carvings on stone, exquisitely carved heavy brackets, piers and cross beams.
* Fatehpur Sikri : Fatehpur Sikri is 37 KMs away from Agra and is easily approachable by local transport. Fatehpur Sikri is a perfectly preserved Mughal city which was capital of Emperor Akbar. Fatehpur Sikri has many monuments build inside it like Buland Darwaza, Dargah of Sufi fakir, Saleem Chisti, Panch Mahal, Diwan-i-am, Diwan-i-khas, Jama Masjid etc.
* Sikandra : Akbar’s Tomb on Delhi-Agra highway. Akbar started construction of this tomb, but it was completed by his son Jehangir.
